If you haven't recently been to the Ekfrid Community Center where we stage our shows, you may not be aware that we have installed a new energy efficient LED lighting system for the stage.
The new system includes a large grouping of front of stage LED flood and spot lights and a host of on stage ceiling mounted LED flood lights run by a new digital light controller in the crew room.
This lighting arrangement replaces the old PAR system and the very old and unreliable analog control board.
The new system has more capability for special effects and is energy efficient. It runs much cooler than the old system which makes the venue more comfortable for both the actors on stage and the audience.
